October is Creeping Up...

How nerdy am I that I've already started prepping my October horror-movie viewing-list?

Nonetheless, you can check it out in my sidebar.

And as always, suggestions are welcome!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets uber excited over Halloween. What a wonderful time of year -- the changing of the leaves, the crisp coolness in the air, night creeping in sooner, scary movies, and haunted houses! I live for the month of October...

Well it seems all that talk about Halloween got me in a pre-Halloween mood and made me go to my local video rental shop late last night to search for a scary movie! And it's all your fault Lindy!! LOL!

I watched "Sightings: Heartland Ghost" which at first, I found typically annoying. But, it quickly became quite spooky especially when I read on the screen that it was based on a true story. Some scenes made the hairs on my arms stand up. I was also kind of nervous about going down to the basement bathroom to brush my teeth when the movie ended. Not typically like me. Movies about hauntings and poltergeists tend to creep me out a bit more than slasher movies or zombie movies because dammit I believe in ghosts. Don't you?

I am soooooo happy October is almost here. I usually start hankering for a good scary movie when I see school buses full of miserable little kids. Now I must go reorganize my Netflix queue.

I can highly highly recommend [Rec] - watch the Spanish quick, before you get dragged into watching Quarantine, the (almost definitely awful) US remake!
